The Pardatschgrat 3S in the Ischgl ski area is a ropeway engineering gem. The exposed location of the Pardatschgrat makes the 3S system all the more impressive as the lift defies wind speeds of up to 100 km/h. With a vertical rise of 1,251 meters, the new Pardatschgrat lift breaks the previous 3S world record.

During the trip of just under ten minutes, guests enjoy the utmost comfort in the very latest CWA cabin model “Taris” – with seats for all 28 passengers. Thanks to the ingenious and innovative energy supply system, this 3S installation features seat heating. The required power is produced by a carriage wheel generator which is the first of its kind  worldwide. For maximum safety, the Pardatschgrat 3S incorporates the proven Doppelmayr recovery concept, which ensures that the cabins can always be brought safely to the nearest station in an evacuation scenario.
