For over 30 years, the operating company Bergbahnen AG Wagrain had a vision of linking up the ski mountains Grafenberg and Grießenkareck. Now they have finally realized that vision with the G-LINK Wagrain which celebrated its grand opening in November 2013.

The modern, twin-tracked reversible aerial tramway takes just five minutes to carry passengers from one mountain to the other. In view of the height above valley floor of up to 230 meters and to ensure passenger safety at all times, the proven recovery system for aerial tramways has been incorporated. This means that even in an emergency situation the cabins can be safely brought to the next station. For this purpose, all function-related parts and equipment are duplicated and independently operable. The Kronos cabins from CWA provide room for 130 passengers, and combine comfort and technology with modern design. G-LINK enhances the attractiveness of the entire region.
